Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience preferred but not mandatory
- ability to stand, walk, lift and bend extensively
- physical ability to push, stand, stoop, bend and lift items up to 150 pounds repetitively
- availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- basic English proficiency

Job Duties
- Report to work as scheduled in proper uniform
- maintain a friendly positive attitude ensuring positive guest experiences
- follow all housekeeping department policies and procedures
- communicate properly over radio
- respond and close HotSOS and other requests as assigned
- assist room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linens
- maintain cleanliness in public restrooms, hotel lobbies, ashtrays, elevators, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrances and hallways
- handle guests with excellent relations skills
- clean back-of-house windows as needed
- vacuum guest hallways daily
- use proper chemicals as described in procedures
- attend departmental meetings as scheduled
- perform duties efficiently and timely
- maintain linen closets clean, stocked and organized
- bring trash to compactor at end of day
- wash and deliver guest room glassware to linen closets
- bring dirty glassware to housekeeping at shift end
- perform other duties as directed by management
- promptly notify supervisors of all problems or unusual matters
- be polite and helpful to guests, management and team members
- attend hotel meetings and training sessions
- maintain cleanliness and condition of equipment and work area
- execute emergency procedures as required
- comply with safety regulations and hotel policies
- recycle when possible
- remain current with hotel information and changes
