Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for over two-thirds of the time
- ability to lift, push, stoop, bend, and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds repetitively
- ability to follow housekeeping procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly
- capacity for extensive standing, walking, lifting and bending
- excellent communication and listening skills
- ability to follow company uniform and grooming standards
- ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, following personal appearance standards
- maintain a friendly positive attitude to ensure a positive guest experience and recognize returning guests
- follow and adhere to all housekeeping department policies and procedures
- communicate properly over the radio using etiquette
- respond to and close HotSOS and other requests when assigned
- assist room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from housekeeping carts
- maintain cleanliness of public restrooms, hotel lobby levels, ashtrays, elevators, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrances, and hallways
- handle guests with excellent guest relations skills
- clean back-of-the-house windows as needed
- vacuum guest hallways daily
- use proper cleaning chemicals according to department procedures
- attend departmental meetings and training sessions
- perform duties in a timely and efficient manner
- maintain linen closets clean, stocked and organized
- bring trash to compactor at the end of the day
- wash and deliver guest room glassware to linen closets
- bring dirty glassware to housekeeping at the end of the shift
- perform other duties as directed by management consistent with company policies
- notify supervisors promptly of any problems or unusual matters
- be polite, friendly and helpful to guests, management and team members
- maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
- execute emergency procedures as per hotel standards
- comply with safety regulations and hotel policies
- recycle whenever possible
- stay current with hotel information and changes
