Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
able to lift up to 50 lbs
able to climb stairs multiple times daily
able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
able to communicate verbally and in writing
able to bend down and get on and off floor numerous times per day
experience a plus but not required

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of carpet care, tile care, buffing machines, and extractors a plus
able to work a flexible schedule as needed based on occupancy
must pass a background check

Job Duties

Walks all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift
removes service trays and trash
notes areas needing immediate cleaning
removes soiled linen, terry, and trash from carts and takes to appropriate locations
recycles bottles, cans, and papers
maintains all carpets through extraction and spotting
protects furniture with preventative maintenance including rotating mattresses and box springs
deep cleans guest rooms including carpets, chairs, vacuuming behind furniture, metal vents, and tile floors in bathrooms
cleans all public areas, elevators, service areas, stairwells while maintaining safety and security
aids housekeepers with removal of rollways and stripping rooms
reports missing/found items, damages, and maintenance issues
responds to guest requests and questions
reports guest issues and complaints to supervisors
stocks linen closets with supplies
performs other duties as assigned
