Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check
- Compassion and interest in senior care
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Positive communication skills
- Maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Meets state-mandated health requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Maintains current food handler's card
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Compassion and special interest in working with the senior population
- Ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and employees
- Maintains a current food handler's card
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by state regulations
- Works independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Supports dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
- Performs the day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness
- Ensures that assigned work areas are clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive
- Follows established safety precautions and infection control practices when performing tasks
- Operates and maintains commercial housekeeping and laundry equipment
- Recognizes and reports potentially dangerous situations
- Participates in required meetings and trainings
- Performs other assigned duties as needed
