  • maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
  • ability to work independently (with minimum supervision)
  • maintains current food handler's card

Job Duties

  • Supports dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
  • performs the day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
  • must have high standards of cleanliness
  • ensures that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner
  • follows established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies
  • follows established infection control practices when performing housekeeping procedures
  • must be capable of operating and maintaining all housekeeping/laundry equipment (i.e., commercial washer/dryer, buffing machines, etc.)
  • ability to work safely and to recognize potentially dangerous situations
  • attends and participates in required meetings and trainings
  • stays current on system assigned tasks and duties
  • performs other tasks/duties as assigned
