Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and transport at least 25 pounds
- ability to push and pull carts and equipment up to 100 pounds
- ability to stand and move steadily for long periods
- ability to work in variable temperature and noise conditions
- familiarity with safety and health regulations including OSHA
- capacity to reach above shoulder height
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- good physical stamina and strength
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- attention to detail and time management skills
Job Duties
- maintain positive guest relations and guest confidentiality
- resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, hours of operation, room rates, promotions, and group activities
- be familiar with local attractions to respond accurately to guest inquiries
- correctly maintain and use equipment and chemicals according to OSHA and hotel standards
- complete daily reports as instructed by supervisor
- clean standard guest rooms within prescribed time while meeting hotel standards
