Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all corridors and public areas according to housekeeping procedures
- walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to remove newspapers and service trays
- empty trash receptacles
- remove trash and linens and note areas needing immediate cleaning
- clean public areas including hallways, elevators, service areas, and stairwells
- remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from service areas to appropriate locations
- assist section housekeepers with tasks such as bed boards and roll-ways
- stock linen and supply closets to maintain par inventories
- report missing or found articles, damage or merchandise problems to supervisor
- respond to guest requests and complaints in a hospitable manner
