Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all corridors and public areas according to housekeeping procedures and safety standards
- walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to remove newspapers, service trays, and empty trash receptacles
- remove trash and linens and note any areas needing immediate cleaning
- clean hallways, elevators, service areas, and stairwells following safety and security procedures
- remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from service areas to appropriate locations
- assist section housekeepers as needed with tasks such as bed boards and roll-ways
- stock linen and supply closets to ensure inventory levels
- report missing or found articles, damage, or problems to Senior Housekeeper or supervisor
- respond to guest requests and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure satisfaction
