Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in hospitality or cleaning services preferred
- valid Driver’s License required
- ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for long periods
- ability to communicate clearly and follow directions
- must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with regulations
- must be able to respond to guest needs promptly and maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties
- Efficiently process and prioritize tasks
- attend to numerous types of guest requests adhering to established delivery deadlines
- deliver guest requests including cribs, rollaways, microwaves, pet amenities, flowers, and guest laundry ensuring items meet hotel standards
- respond to work orders received via Knowcross
- log radio calls and follow-up with Office Coordinators on completion
- deep clean guest buildings including hallways, staircases, elevators, courtyards, ice closets, linen closets
- perform heavy dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning walls, windows, fireplaces, furniture and reposition furniture to established floor plans
- ensure proper levels of guest and cleaning supplies are maintained in linen closets and store rooms
- deep clean guest rooms including tubs, carpets, patios, walls, light fixtures, floors, furniture, and windows
- perform carpet care including shampooing and spot maintenance
- perform floor care including stripping and waxing
- safely operate Hostar equipment and place in designated areas at shift start and completion
- assist in cleaning up leaks and floods as needed and place proper signage on spills and wet areas
- place out-of-order signs on malfunctioning hardware or appliances
- remove Food & Beverage items from courtyards and report to In-Room Dining
- pack and deliver ice to ice closets
- remain calm and courteous resolving guest issues and reporting to supervisors
- display accident prevention work habits
- adhere to health department sanitation and safety regulations
- handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs
- maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
- ensure security of guest room access and hotel property including assigned keys and communications devices
- follow lost and found protocols
- support preparation, cleaning, and upkeep of on-site estate Casa Elar including dishwashing, fireplace cleaning, and touch-ups of libraries, parlors, bars, patios and pool areas as assigned
