Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Physical ability to perform frequent walking, standing, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and 24/7 hotel environment
- Must comply with hotel rules and regulations
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to bend, stoop and lift
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Knowledge of hotel policies and emergency procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
Job Duties
- Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Proceed to the laundry area to pick-up your assigned cart and necessary supplies
- Avoid making excessive noise in guest room areas
- Prioritize cleaning check-out rooms before others, unless a special request is made
- Report rooms marked do not disturb to your superior for approval
- Change sheets in every room daily unless specified by the guest
- Clean rooms according to established procedures
- Return cart to linen room at end of shift
- Follow all reasonable requests from management
- Be flexible with your work schedule
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform including name tag
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and updates
- Be aware of current guest service scores and participate actively in achieving goals
- Handle duties according to hotel policies, procedures, and internal rules
- Know and act on all emergency procedures
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to management
- Assist fellow associates to improve daily hotel operations
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and pass as approved driver if applicable
