Job Requirements

  • Must be physically fit and able to bend, stoop, and lift

  • Must be able to operate industrial laundry and cleaning equipment
  • Must comply with hotel rules and procedures
  • Must have flexibility in work schedule
  • Must be punctual and presentable
  • Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
  • Proceed to the laundry area to pick-up assigned cart and necessary supplies
  • Avoid making excessive noise in guest room areas
  • Prioritize check-outs with exception for special requests
  • Report rooms marked as Do Not Disturb to superior for approval
  • Change sheets in every room daily unless specified by the guest
  • Clean rooms according to established procedures and return cart to linen room at shift end
  • Follow all reasonable requests by management
  • Be flexible regarding work schedule
  • Report to work on time and in proper uniform including name tag
  • Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and updates
  • Understand and strive to achieve guest service scores
  • Handle duties according to hotel policies and standards
  • Know and act on emergency procedures
  • Report unusual occurrences or requests to manager
  • Assist fellow associates to improve daily operations
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Hold a valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
