Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physically capable of lifting over 50 pounds
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance if applicable
  • Willingness to comply with hotel rules and procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Knowledge of guest service principles
  • Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency protocols
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform frequent standing and walking
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if driving duties required

Job Duties

  • Pick up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
  • Sign out and sign in all keys at the start and end of shifts
  • Collect assigned carts and supplies from laundry area
  • Maintain low noise levels in guest room areas at all times
  • Prioritize cleaning of check-out rooms unless otherwise requested
  • Report rooms marked Do Not Disturb to superior for approval
  • Change sheets daily in every room unless guest specifies otherwise
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and return carts to linen room
  • Carry out reasonable management requests
  • Be flexible regarding work schedule
  • Report to work on time and in proper uniform including name tag
  • Stay informed about daily hotel operations and updates
  • Understand and contribute to guest service score goals
  • Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, rules, and standards
  • Know and follow emergency procedures
  • Report unusual occurrences or requests to manager
  • Assist fellow associates to improve hotel operations
  • Perform all other assigned duties
