Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physically capable of lifting over 50 pounds
- Able to maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy
- Valid driver’s license and insurance if applicable
- Willingness to comply with hotel rules and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications

- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of guest service principles
- Familiarity with hotel safety and emergency protocols
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform frequent standing and walking
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if driving duties required
Job Duties
- Pick up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Sign out and sign in all keys at the start and end of shifts
- Collect assigned carts and supplies from laundry area
- Maintain low noise levels in guest room areas at all times
- Prioritize cleaning of check-out rooms unless otherwise requested
- Report rooms marked Do Not Disturb to superior for approval
- Change sheets daily in every room unless guest specifies otherwise
- Follow established cleaning procedures and return carts to linen room
- Carry out reasonable management requests
- Be flexible regarding work schedule
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform including name tag
- Stay informed about daily hotel operations and updates
- Understand and contribute to guest service score goals
- Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, rules, and standards
- Know and follow emergency procedures
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to manager
- Assist fellow associates to improve hotel operations
- Perform all other assigned duties
