Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- customer service orientation
- physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- clean and maintain designated areas such as public spaces offices restrooms and banquet meeting conference rooms
- perform duties including dusting shining furniture and fixtures vacuuming sweeping mopping shampooing carpets washing windows cleaning and buffing floors and disposing of waste and ashtrays
- greet every person who enters in a friendly manner
- keep accurate records of maintenance requests and completed repairs
- coordinate with management for timely and cost-effective replenishment of supplies
- perform extensive cleaning duties and manage unique projects
- respond promptly to guest requests and assist with cleaning guest lodgings as necessary
