Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of prior work experience as an environmental cleaning specialist
  • experience planning, organizing, scheduling and coordinating job activities
  • ability to provide direction and train personnel
  • must complete initial training course by LC Housekeeping
  • capable of working second shift
  • able to read and comprehend quality and safety documents
  • able to complete accurate and legible GMP compliance documentation
  • computer proficiency
  • able to lift, carry, push or pull weights of more than 20 pounds
  • able to stand and walk continuously for prolonged periods
  • able to work in noisy and confined environments
  • able to perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting or kneeling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior work experience of 3 years as environmental cleaning specialist
  • experience planning, organizing, scheduling and coordinating job activities and provide direction and train personnel
  • ability to read and comprehend corporate quality documents, cross divisional operating procedures, safety guidelines and departmental basic operating procedures
  • ability to complete accurate and legible written records in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • computer proficiency for compliance/technical training and documentation
  • completion of initial training course provided by LC Housekeeping prior to working in regulated environments at Abbott Lake County site

Job Duties

  • Direct in-plant work activity of personnel
  • maintain and review department records and submit reports to supervisor
  • investigate, follow-up and resolve customer requests and/or complaints
  • ensure facilities are clean and well maintained according to cGMP standards
  • ensure proper utilization of supplies, equipment, and its maintenance
  • conduct BOP training and instructions on safety procedures and equipment usage
  • ensure approved BOPs and procedures are followed by all shift personnel
  • make appropriate changes as needed to maintain compliance with cGMP principles
