Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • good communication skills
  • must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to handle routine customer disputes with discretion
  • willingness to cross-train in other departments
  • must follow all company policies and procedures
  • bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to engage courteously with guests
  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to handle high volume customer interactions
  • bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Cleans trash cans and ash trays
  • vacuums carpeted areas
  • sweeps and mops tile, brick, and concrete areas
  • picks up dirty cups and glasses throughout the facility
  • polishes furniture and fixtures
  • operates and maintains light equipment necessary to perform job functions to include vacuums
  • deep cleans areas including shampooing carpets, stripping and waxing floors, and high dusting
  • deals with high volume customer interactions and is consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerful
  • builds guest relations by talking with customers and making them feel welcome and comfortable
  • observes all activity within assigned area offering assistance to guests
  • observes activity and reports anything out of the ordinary
  • handles routine customer complaints and incidents with appropriate discretion
  • ensures all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service
  • utilizes open body language, politely speaks with and assists guests
  • adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically
  • empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount, otherwise notifies management
  • crosstrains in other departments
  • performs other duties as assigned
