Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- good communication skills
- must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to handle routine customer disputes with discretion
- willingness to cross-train in other departments
- must follow all company policies and procedures
- bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to engage courteously with guests
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to handle high volume customer interactions
- bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Cleans trash cans and ash trays
- vacuums carpeted areas
- sweeps and mops tile, brick, and concrete areas
- picks up dirty cups and glasses throughout the facility
- polishes furniture and fixtures
- operates and maintains light equipment necessary to perform job functions to include vacuums
- deep cleans areas including shampooing carpets, stripping and waxing floors, and high dusting
- deals with high volume customer interactions and is consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerful
- builds guest relations by talking with customers and making them feel welcome and comfortable
- observes all activity within assigned area offering assistance to guests
- observes activity and reports anything out of the ordinary
- handles routine customer complaints and incidents with appropriate discretion
- ensures all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service
- utilizes open body language, politely speaks with and assists guests
- adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically
- empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount, otherwise notifies management
- crosstrains in other departments
- performs other duties as assigned
