The housekeeping department at our establishment plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and safety for our guests. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy linens and supplies
- Able to stand and move for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Basic knowledge of laundry procedures
- Good organizational skills
- Team player with cooperative attitude
- Basic bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Prior housekeeping or laundry experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Load van with clean linens
- Load housekeepers' baskets with clean linens
- Pick up dirty linens, trash, and replace empty water jugs
- Wash laundry as necessary
- Keep laundry clean
- Keep front office stocked with clean linens including sheet sets, towels, toilet paper
- Check at beginning and end of shift
- Receive cleaned laundry
- Keep inventory stocked
- Distribute water to housekeepers
