Job Requirements

  • One year or more experience in housekeeping preferred but not mandatory
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must possess good verbal communication skills
  • Must follow written and verbal direction from supervisor
  • Must attend all scheduled in-service meetings and/or complete all online classes in a timely manner
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and other common physical movements as needed
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Ninety percent of your shift will involve walking
  • Post-offer physical, drug screen, Tspot, and background check required

Job Duties

  • Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor
  • Ensure all daily and deep cleaning duties are adhered to
  • Dust, clean, and polish all fixtures, furniture, curtains, baseboards, vents, windows, fans, top of doorframes, and top of windows
  • Move furniture and other heavy objects as required to clean
  • Check all electrical cords on beds and lamps for bare wires and report any issues to facilities
  • Collect and properly dispose of trash
  • Adhere to correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
