Job Requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
- must be able to perform repetitive tasks and work on feet for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or environmental services experience especially in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, and offices
- dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures as needed
- remove trash and replace liners
- restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the supervisor
- ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
- maintain resident confidentiality and treat all residents with dignity and respect
- assist with laundry services as needed
- respond promptly and courteously to resident or staff requests
