Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Two years experience preferred
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Capability to perform minor maintenance tasks
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance duties
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to provide accurate documentation and reports
Job Qualifications
- General knowledge of custodial duties and property maintenance
- Two years experience preferred
- High school diploma
Job Duties
- Use industrial scrubbers/buffers, carpet cleaning machines, pressure washers, and cleaning solvents to maintain aseptic conditions
- Custodian shall report water leaks, clogged drains and malfunctioning equipment to Campus Management Department
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as directed
- Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and buff floors
- Empty trash cans and reline cans with plastic liners
- Dispose of refuse in dumpsters
- Vacuum and steam clean carpets
- Clean restrooms and all fixtures including urinals, toilets, sinks and mirrors
- Clean windows and wipe windowsills
- Fill paper towel dispensers and refill antibacterial soap dispensers
- Ensure toilet paper dispensers are filled and extra rolls provided for each fixture
- Dust furnishings
- Change light bulbs
- Clean wall and ceiling vents
- Change furnace filters
- Pick up all trash along sidewalks and on grounds of residential programs
- Keep all entries clean and free of debris
- Manage and report needs for cleaning supply inventory
- Provide accurate weekly documentation, time sheet and notification of issues as job sites requiring attention beyond the custodial scope of work
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
- Sanitation/disinfecting/fogging
