Job Requirements
- One or more years of housekeeping experience
- Ability to operate handheld communication devices
- Ability to perform operations with units such as cup, pint, quart, ounce, inch, foot, and yard
- Ability to perform all custodial worker tasks
- Capacity to work full time
- High school graduate or GED preferred

- Ability to perform the professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department
- Skilled in operating housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience in floor maintenance, hard surface floor refinishing, carpet and upholstery cleaning
- Effective communication skills using handheld devices
- Knowledge of measurement units such as cup, pint, quart, ounce, inch, foot, and yard
Job Duties
- Perform all tasks of the custodial worker job description
- Strip and refinish all types of hard surface floors
- Scrub and refinish all types of hard surface floors
- Spot clean and extract all types of carpeted surfaces and upholstery
- Operate housekeeping equipment such as walk behind and riding auto scrubbers safely and efficiently
- Perform daily corridor maintenance including dust mopping, spot mopping, and auto scrubbing corridors and lobby areas
- Clean equipment before returning it to storage and report equipment in need of repair and safety hazards to supervisor
