Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- current Family and Friends CPR certification preferred
- 1-3 months experience in a hospital setting preferred
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English at a fifth grade level
- experience in housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, hotel services, food handling, transporting patients and supplies, disinfecting containers and equipment using detergents and disinfecting solutions preferred

Job Duties
- provide patients with a clean, safe, and attractive environment
- deliver patient food trays to patient care areas
- transport patients and supplies as needed
- maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for patient care areas
- assist patients, visitors, and hospital staff
- clean and disinfect patient care areas daily and after discharge
- transport supplies from Central Services
