Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Some related work experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb and work from elevated surfaces
- Ability to hear and specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment
- Must wear required personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, vest, gloves, and bump cap
- Ability to report unsafe working conditions and suspicious activities
- May require successful completion of substance abuse screening and criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Some related work experience preferred
- Effective listening, speaking, and writing skills
- Ability to lift 60 pounds during a work shift
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
Job Duties
- Clean the building by conventional sweeping methods using vacuum cleaners, dusting cloths, cleaning cloths, and similar materials and equipment
- Clean restrooms and restock paper and soap
- Remove minor clogs in restroom plumbing appliances
- Empty trash receptacles and bag trash for proper disposal
- Be safety conscious and stay alert for potential safety hazards
- Use power equipment to buff and restore floors and shampoo carpets
- Wear the proper safety equipment
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
