Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of related working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies and equipment
  • ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • ability to walk or stand the entire shift, bend, and stoop
  • flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
  • ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays
  • required to complete on-site CPR and blood borne pathogen training

Job Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience with building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment
  • ability to perform routine custodial tasks without immediate supervision

  • physical stamina to walk or stand entire shift, bend, and stoop

Job Duties

  • Mix and prepare cleaning products
  • clean Coliseum interior and exterior
  • vacuum, sweep, mop, clean and wax floors
  • ensure a safe environment for patrons by removing liquids and debris from walkways during events
  • clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures
  • replenish supplies in restrooms
  • wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops
  • remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities
  • empty waste receptacles
  • perform additional staff functions for events
  • exercise resource stewardship and report irregularities to supervisors
  • follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
