Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- minimum 1 year experience in custodial or cleaning services
- ability to work odd or unusual hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work
- physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and stoop for entire shifts
- must follow OSHA and safety guidelines
- ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals
- willing to complete required training such as CPR and blood borne pathogen training
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- 1 year of related working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies and equipment
- ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- ability to walk/stand entire shift, bend, and stoop
- flexible to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- must successfully complete on site CPR and blood borne pathogen training
Job Duties
- Mix and prepare cleaning products
- clean Coliseum interior and exterior
- vacuum, sweep, mop, clean and wax floors
- ensure a safe environment for patrons by removing liquids and debris from walkways
- clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures
- replenish supplies in restrooms
- wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops
- remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities
- empty waste receptacles
- perform additional staff functions for events
- exercise resource stewardship and report irregularities to immediate supervisor
- follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines
- perform other assigned duties
