Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
- Leadership experience in housekeeping methods, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment
- Knowledge of safety requirements for equipment, supplies, and chemicals
- Basic knowledge of floor stripping and rolling equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout shift
Job Qualifications

- Valid driver's license
- Leadership experience with knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment for public assembly facilities
- Working knowledge of safety requirements using housekeeping equipment, cleaning supplies, and chemicals
- Basic knowledge of rolling equipment and floor stripping procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds for the duration of the shift
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations
- Coordinate the Housekeeping Team to assure tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with instructions
- Perform inspections of tasks performed by Housekeeping Team
- Assist in training new team members on required tasks established by the department
- Assist with supervision of full-time and part-time staff in the absence of Housekeeping Supervisor
- Lead Housekeeping Team and participate in performing housekeeping tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping, polishing, waxing, mopping
- Report unsatisfactory or dangerous situations to appropriate authority
- Perform all other duties as assigned
