Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year supervisory experience
- valid driver’s license
- knowledge of cleaning methods and materials
- knowledge of safety procedures
- ability to work varied hours including nights and holidays
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- minimum of one year supervisory experience over full-time and/or part-time staff
- valid driver’s license
- leadership experience with working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment used in housekeeping and maintenance of a public assembly facility
- knowledge of safety requirements when using housekeeping equipment, cleaning supplies, and chemicals
- basic knowledge of rolling equipment and floor stripping procedures
- working knowledge of cleaning timelines
- good verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work varied hours including frequent nights, holidays, and weekends
- physical ability to perform walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds during shift
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations
- coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure tasks are completed timely according to instructions
- perform inspections of tasks completed by housekeeping team
- assist in training new team members on required tasks
- assist with supervision of full-time and part-time staff in the absence of the housekeeping supervisor
- lead housekeeping team and participate in various housekeeping tasks such as trash removal, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping, polishing, waxing, mopping
- report unsatisfactory or dangerous situations to appropriate authorities
- perform all other duties as assigned
