Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment
  • Strong computer knowledge and willingness to learn new programs
  • Understanding of department finances
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Desire to learn and adhere to new policies, procedures and standards

Job Duties

  • Monitor and control service order dispatching for the Housekeeping Department
  • Create and analyze reports including inspection scores, attendant yields, guest delivery trends, and other housekeeping reports
  • Present analyzed information to Housekeeping Managers and other Lines of Business
  • Communicate with other department leaders to assist in controlling guest rooms and follow up on rooms out of inventory
  • Coordinate and direct wellness checks to ensure all occupied guest rooms are recorded daily and be the point of contact for implementing the Do Not Disturb policy
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining lost and found items and communicate with guests regarding these items
  • Accurately track lost and found high-value item storage and disposition
  • Assist with morning preparations for Housekeepers including board creations
  • Perform other duties such as filing, logging, inventory as assigned
