Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Six months to a year experience in housekeeping or related field
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle several assignments concurrently
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and multiple software programs
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Answer telephones and communicate with guests and employees in a professional and timely manner
  • Operate several computer systems at once to field guest requests, check on rushed rooms, communicate with housekeepers and runners, confirm traces on reservations
  • Offer housekeeping items to guests to enhance their stay comfort
  • Solve problems directed to housekeeping and inform a manager of the issue
  • Assist with opening procedures such as key retrieval, room assignments, and unlocking all work areas of the day
  • Coordinate communication between housekeeping staff and management
  • Ensure cleanliness and readiness of rooms according to established standards
