Job Duties

  • Prepare room availability reports
  • Verify and update room status
  • Prioritize cleaning of guest rooms
  • Assist in daily housekeeping activities
  • Coordinate efforts between housekeeping, engineering, front desk, and laundry departments
  • Manage and resolve room discrepancies with front desk
  • Prepare and distribute work assignments
  • Record and update 'Do not disturb' room lists
  • Ensure timely cleaning of vacant dirty rooms
  • Assign urgent room cleaning tasks
  • Complete required housekeeping paperwork
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance and safety issues
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Greet and assist guests according to company standards
  • Ensure quality expectations are met
  • Foster positive working relationships
  • Support team goals
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Use computers to enter and locate work information
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 10 pounds
  • Execute additional duties as requested by supervisors
