Job Duties
- Prepare room availability reports
- Verify and update room status
- Prioritize cleaning of guest rooms
- Assist in daily housekeeping activities
- Coordinate efforts between housekeeping, engineering, front desk, and laundry departments
- Manage and resolve room discrepancies with front desk
- Prepare and distribute work assignments
- Record and update 'Do not disturb' room lists
- Ensure timely cleaning of vacant dirty rooms
- Assign urgent room cleaning tasks
- Complete required housekeeping paperwork
- Ensure compliance with safety and security policies
- Report maintenance and safety issues
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Greet and assist guests according to company standards
- Ensure quality expectations are met
- Foster positive working relationships
- Support team goals
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Use computers to enter and locate work information
- Perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 10 pounds
