Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous room attendant or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Previous housekeeping coordinator experience highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confidence working independently
  • Valid driving license to operate golf cart
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
  • Ability to multi-task in high volume, demanding environments
  • Strong computer skills including typing, filing, faxing, photocopying
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, HotSOS, REX and Opera
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Well developed organizational skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Must possess valid US work authorization
  • Position not eligible for work sponsorship/visa

Job Duties

  • Record every telephone/radio call in a log book/database
  • Handle guest requests for the Laundry/Valet Department
  • Utilize systems related to Housekeeping such as Opera, Word, Golden, Excel, HotSOS, REX, and Outlook
  • Assign room assignment boards (Self Inspector Attendants) in REX or Opera
  • Organize the Housekeeping office ensuring files are updated
  • Monitor the completion of Traces
  • Review guest profiles through Golden and execute requests from Golden to Res/HotSOS
  • Prepare room discrepancy reports
  • Utilize telephones adhering to Four Seasons standards
  • Expedite guest requests quickly and notify Housekeeping management of any issues
  • Record glitches and inform management or resolve to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Check staffing levels for the next day
  • Check room status of VIP arrivals, in-house, and stayovers
  • Communicate room and engineering issues and follow protocol to resolve
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with room attendants, house attendants, laundry attendants
  • Assist Housekeeping management in administrative work
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
