- ability to take care of guests' needs professionally
- availability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to wear Indiana State Park Inns-provided uniform
- ability to work in potentially inclement weather
- physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or hospitality experience desirable
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas
- make beds and replenish linens
- clean and vacuum rooms
- empty trash receptacles routinely
- wash, dry, and store linens in an organized manner
- provide friendly and professional customer service to guests
- comply with safety and uniform standards
