Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- ability to perform moderate physical effort including moving furniture
- no prior experience required
- ability to operate hand and powered cleaning equipment
- good communication skills
- ability to maintain guest privacy and security
- willingness to work part-time hours
- may require valid state driver’s license
- willingness to obtain food handling and housekeeping certifications
- ability to travel to multiple locations based on business needs

Job Duties
- Cleans guest rooms and assigned areas
- operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and polishers
- empties wastebaskets and dusts furniture
- disinfects and deodorizes bathrooms
- washes and replaces window treatments
- changes light bulbs and room partitions
- cleans kitchen areas including appliances and utensils
- ensures proper functionality of luggage racks and in-room electronics
- stocks guest room amenities
- inspects and replaces bed linens
- greets and maintains guest relations
- maintains privacy and security of guests
- cleans corridors, stairways, and exterior spaces
- performs deep cleaning tasks including carpet shampooing and wall cleaning
- maintains cleanliness of storage rooms
- communicates cleaning status to supervisors
- performs minor repairs and reports major issues
- assists with receiving and storing supplies
- manages keys and reports unusual circumstances
- handles lost and found items
- sets up and cleans breakfast service areas
- completes safety and security training
- adheres to NEXCOM Hospitality Group protocols
- performs laundry operations
- may travel to other lodging facilities
- obtains required certifications
- performs other related duties as assigned
