Job Requirements
- Equivalent to completion of the eighth grade
- one year of experience performing duties comparable to a Housekeeping Attendant in Merced County
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- availability to work full-time or extra-help shifts
- willingness to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- reliable and detail oriented
Job Qualifications
- One year experience performing duties comparable to a Housekeeping Attendant in Merced County

- knowledge of cleaning methods and materials

Job Duties
- Dust mops floors
- wet mops floors
- vacuums and shampoos carpets
- extracts and refinishes floors using powered scrubbers and buffers
- cleans, disinfects and deodorizes lavatories, urinals and toilet bowls
- cleans mirrors, sinks and water fountains
- replaces deodorizers, toilet tissues, hand towels and soap
- maintains stock of cleaning materials and equipment
- gathers and disposes of common trash and infectious waste
- removes and replaces drapes and curtains for cleaning
- washes door frames, lighting vents, ceiling fixtures and partitions using ladders
- cleans surgical suites and designated medical areas according to standards
- cleans equipment after use and returns it to storage
- assists with furniture moving and office relocations
