We are excited to offer a Housekeeper position at a charming boutique hotel located in the scenic town of Independence, California. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods up to and over 8 hours per shift
- Must be able to lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs laundry bags cleaning supplies mattresses etc
- Ability to bend kneel reach overhead and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a small team
- Friendly attitude and genuine desire to contribute to a positive guest experience
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly including making beds dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing bathrooms
- Restock room supplies such as towels toiletries and coffee items
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies hallways restrooms and outdoor guest spaces
- Notify management of any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Assist with laundry duties including washing drying folding and organizing linens
- Follow all health and safety standards and hotel cleanliness protocols
- Provide friendly and respectful service to guests when encountered in hallways or rooms
