Job Requirements
- must be able to stand and move for extended periods up to and over 8 hours per shift
- must be able to lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs laundry bags cleaning supplies mattresses etc
- ability to bend kneel reach overhead and perform repetitive physical tasks
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a small team
- a friendly attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to a positive guest experience
Job Duties
- clean guest rooms thoroughly including making beds dusting vacuuming mopping and sanitizing bathrooms
- restock room supplies such as towels toiletries and coffee items
- clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies hallways restrooms and outdoor guest spaces
- notify management of any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- assist with laundry duties including washing drying folding and organizing linens
- follow all health and safety standards and hotel cleanliness protocols
- provide friendly and respectful service to guests when encountered in hallways or rooms
