Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment
- Valid driver’s license if operating truck or golf cart
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

- Ability to interpret safety rules, MSDS, operations and maintenance instructions, and employee handbook
- Effective verbal communication skills with guests and coworkers
- Maintain professionalism demonstrating courtesy and respect

Job Duties
- Maintain a respectful and helpful attitude to customers
- Adhere to property service standards and grooming
- Prepare and keep the maid cart clean with all necessary chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment accessible
- Check Proxy-guard or equivalent system points along the assigned area
- Use radio communication with supervisors and team members
- Report incidents, accidents, property damage, lost/recovered property, personal injuries, and maintenance or housekeeping issues promptly
- Follow safety indications and OSHA practices
- Keep assigned zone clean and free from wet spills and chewing gum
- Manage trash disposal when bins reach three-quarters full and clean ashtrays if present
- Clean tables, chairs, furniture, and maintain safe and clean floor conditions
- Maintain internal and external garden debris-free if applicable
- Ensure a safe environment for coworkers and visitors
- Refill chemical or paper dispensers as needed
- Perform shipping/receiving and loading/unloading duties as required
- Use wet floor signs when operating cleaning equipment
- Keep counters, water fountains, pay phones, mirrors, and storerooms clean and organized
- Operate cleaning equipment such as industrial vacuums, scrubbing machines, lifts, trucks or golf carts (with driver’s license), hand trucks, carpet extractors, and pressure washers as needed
