Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle physical tasks and stand for extended periods
- familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
Job Duties
- ensure cleanliness and maintenance of designated hotel areas such as restrooms public spaces offices and meeting or banquet venues
- wipe and shine furniture and fixtures sweep mop vacuum and shampoo carpets
- wash windows clean and wax floors dispose of trash and empty ashtrays
- warmly welcome visitors with a cheerful greeting
- notify management of maintenance concerns and equipment malfunctions
- maintain proper inventory levels in supply rooms
- undertake intensive cleaning duties and manage specialized assignments
- attend to guest needs and help maintain cleanliness of guest rooms when necessary
