Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and carrying heavy items
Job Duties
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of designated areas including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and meeting/banquet venues
- Wipe and shine furniture and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets
- Wash windows and clean and wax floors
- Dispose of trash and empty ashtrays
- Warmly welcome visitors with a cheerful greeting
- Notify management of maintenance concerns and equipment malfunctions
- Maintain proper inventory levels in supply rooms
- Undertake intensive cleaning duties and manage specialized assignments
- Attend to guest needs and help maintain cleanliness of guest rooms when necessary
