Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- one year of experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices
- ability to follow safety protocols
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- dependable and punctual
- ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Job Qualifications
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- preferred one year of related experience
- ability to maintain strong knowledge of department policies and procedures
- ability to handle and clean equipment used in cleaning tasks
- attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
- ability to report safety and maintenance issues promptly
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect floors using hospital-specific equipment including microfiber cloths and wet mops
- clean and sanitize surfaces such as over-bed tables, counters, furniture, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors
- clean and sanitize vertical surfaces including walls, ceilings, and windows
- ensure cleanliness of high dust surfaces such as picture frames, vents, and doorframes
- inspect rooms for proper cleaning and report any safety or maintenance issues
- remove trash and linen, clean receptacles, and ensure they are prepared for next use
- restock paper, hand sanitizer, and hand soap supplies
