Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently for communication
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including scrubbing, bending, lifting, and carrying
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, and pull for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Ensure all community areas and resident apartments are clean and orderly
- Provide housekeeping services in line with Grand Living’s standards
- Follow community processes, procedures, and practices related to housekeeping
- Model The Sterling Touch® approach in all interactions
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests
- Maintain cleanliness by scrubbing, scouring, and caring for linens
- Safely handle cleaning products and equipment
