Job Requirements
- Prolonged standing and walking for duration of shift
- ability to walk around the hotel, up and down stairs, stoop, kneel
- ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Job Qualifications
- Bilingual or multilingual
- prior housekeeping, cleaning, or janitorial experience
- emotional intelligence training
- understanding of hotel functions and guest profiles
- knowledge of local area including restaurants and attractions
- interpersonal skills including listening, smiling, teamwork, and conflict resolution
- ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- professional demeanor and punctuality
Job Duties
- Provide a pleasant experience to guests
- assist with reports, maintenance request forms, logbooks, lost and found as needed
- regularly assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties
- demonstrate brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks and mandates
- follow all safety guidelines to ensure safety of all associates and guests
- follow all guidelines, policies and procedures such as reporting on time, professional demeanor, and timely absence reporting
- ensure all guest room areas are clean and meet quality standards
- replace or change items in guest rooms including bed linen, pillows, towels, and bath products
- sweep, mop and vacuum guest rooms
- dust furniture
- clean all high-touch point areas such as knobs, remotes, thermostats, and switches
- ensure all public areas, laundry, and room areas are clean and inspected for quality
- maintain storage rooms clean and stocked
- utilize carpet machines for cleaning carpets and removing stains
- assist with moving objects such as laundry carts, garbage carts, furniture, and linen
- minimize waste in housekeeping areas
- assist with inventory management
- engage guests and associates professionally, initiate conversations to build trust
- follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
- assist in training new associates when requested
- address guest and associate questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- report any issues or suggestions to management
- maintain communication across hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- follow posted schedules to reduce overtime and missed meal hours
