Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate with residents, guests and fellow employees
- ability to scrub and scour surfaces
- ability to extend arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks
- ability to work in narrow and confined spaces
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
- ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate effectively
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Duties
- clean and maintain resident apartments and common areas to a high standard
- follow community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophies
- provide friendly, courteous, and professional service embodying The Sterling Touch®
- respond promptly to resident requests and cleaning needs
- ensure safety by correctly handling cleaning supplies and equipment
- model positive interaction with residents, guests, and staff
- assist with inventory management of housekeeping supplies
