Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work open availability with day, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and more with assistance
  • Ability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over varied surfaces
  • Willingness to adhere to company uniform and appearance standards
  • Commitment to safety and reporting maintenance issues
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or sit for long periods
  • Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and department requests
  • Fill housekeeping carts with supplies and transport to assigned areas
  • Enter guest rooms following established procedures
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies
  • Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
  • Make beds and fold terry
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items
  • Check that all appliances are present and operational in rooms
  • Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests
  • Assist guests with disabilities
  • Support team goals
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards
  • Perform physical tasks including moving objects, pushing carts, reaching, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Perform other duties as assigned
