Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read write and speak the English language sufficiently to communicate with residents guests and fellow employees
- ability to scrub and scour surfaces and extend arms overhead to perform cleaning tasks
- ability to work in narrow and confined spaces
- ability to stand walk climb stairs crouch bend stoop reach grasp push pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
- ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read write and speak English sufficiently to communicate with residents guests and fellow employees
- capable of explaining and recording resident requests and comprehending work instructions
- able to differentiate individual linen use and care product labels and community communications
Job Duties
- ensure all areas of the community are neat orderly and welcoming for guests
- perform cleaning and upkeep of all common areas and resident apartments
- deliver housekeeping services with attention to detail and cleanliness
- model The Sterling Touch® friendly courteous helpful timely and professional manner
- respond to resident requests efficiently and courteously
- maintain compliance with community standards processes procedures and practices
- assist with special cleaning projects as directed by the Director of Environmental Services
