Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- ability to scrub and scour surfaces
- ability to work in narrow and confined spaces
- ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
- ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- high school diploma or GED preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate with residents and staff
- strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- reliable and able to work flexible schedule including weekends
Job Duties
- Ensure all common areas and resident apartments are clean and orderly
- follow established housekeeping procedures and standards
- demonstrate friendly, courteous and professional behavior with residents and guests
- report maintenance issues or resident requests to appropriate personnel
- handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- maintain supply inventory and request replenishments as needed
- adhere to community policies, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols
