Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • willingness to perform repetitive cleaning and folding movements for long periods
  • excellent attention to detail
  • good interpersonal skills

  • ability to perform work to the highest of standards consistently
  • ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

  • physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for prolonged periods

Job Duties

  • Change bed linen daily
  • vacuum carpeting
  • dust all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, and dressers
  • remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, and windows
  • thoroughly clean the bathroom area including shower stall, sink, floor, and toilet
  • ensure the standard room setup is complied with
  • report immediately all damage found in a room
  • report immediately all missing items in the room
  • report immediately personal guest items found in vacant rooms
  • turn in immediately all lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper
  • assist housekeepers in any additional cleaning chores they may assign
