Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of experience preferred
- Ability to use hospital-specific cleaning equipment
- Ability to work scheduled shift 11 am to 7:30 pm
- Capacity to report safety or maintenance issues
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Preferred high school diploma/GED
- One year preferred experience in environmental services or related field
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication skills to report issues to supervisors
- Capability to work a consistent shift from 11 am to 7:30 pm
Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect floors using hospital-specific equipment including microfiber cloths and wet mops
- Clean and sanitize horizontal surfaces such as over-bed tables counters and furniture
- Clean and sanitize restroom surfaces including toilets urinals sinks showers walls floors and mirrors
- Clean and sanitize vertical surfaces such as walls ceilings and windows
- Ensure cleanliness of high dust surfaces such as picture frames vents and doorframes
- Inspect room for proper cleaning and report any safety or maintenance issues
- Remove trash and linen clean receptacles and ensure they are prepared for next use
- Restock paper hand sanitizer and hand soap supplies
- Sanitize high touch areas such as light switches bed rails and doorknobs
