Job Requirements

Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently for communication
Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and to extend arms overhead
Ability to work in narrow and confined spaces
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds
Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior housekeeping experience preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
Familiarity with basic cleaning techniques and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Capability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Job Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all community spaces including resident apartments and common areas
Follow established cleaning protocols and safety standards
Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests related to housekeeping services
Assist with upkeep and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
Collaborate with the Environmental Services team to uphold community standards
Model The Sterling Touch® service approach in all interactions with residents and staff
Perform physical tasks involved in cleaning such as scrubbing, lifting, and moving equipment
