Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, analyze and interpret training manuals, professional journals or technical procedures
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
  • ability to interpret various technical instructions and manage both abstract and concrete variables
  • physical ability to sit, stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear regularly
  • occasionally walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of housekeeping or janitorial experience
  • professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service skills
  • strong verbal communication and conflict resolution abilities

  • well organized and detail oriented
  • high cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Detail cleaning and preventive maintenance such as restocking towel shelves, emptying and wiping down trash cans, disinfecting and cleaning toilets and showers, cleaning vanity mirrors and top lights, vacuuming carpets, mopping and dry mopping floors
  • restock vanity supplies and replenish inventory and janitorial products
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • greet members and guests throughout the property
  • understand and anticipate the needs of members, be attentive, listen carefully and follow through with exceptional customer service
  • communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
  • actively participate in events, programs, meetings and training
  • represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through
  • work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, days and evenings
