Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods
- Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and equipment use
- Problem-solving mindset with initiative
Job Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest cabins and all public areas including Adobe, restrooms, Pelican Room, retail store, front office, team room, and back office
- Follow housekeeping schedules to ensure timely turnovers and refresh services for guest cottages
- Manage laundry operations including linens, comforters, and pool towels ensuring timely collection, washing, and redistribution
- Prepare and distribute linen boxes for daily turnovers and transport linens and supplies as needed
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate restocking with Facilities team
- Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities such as coffee, water, tea, and linens
- Collaborate effectively with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to address guest needs and resolve issues
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs within cottages and public areas
- Adhere to all resort policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a secure and hygienic environment
- Maintain accurate logs of housekeeping activities, room status, and maintenance requests
